Exams Survival Guide

Hey Beauties ..

It that time of the year again , Finals time! so for this week we have for you some tips and tricks to survive this period and ace those exams ! cause you know what they say; “ Beauty may be dangerous but intelligence is lethal”

1. Help each other out

Study with a friend , share notes and this way you won’t get bored due having some company and help each other stay focus , if you see your friend going trough her instagram feed snap her out and remind her to continue studying . That is what we do and I must say it helps keeps you focused longer

2. Drink Up !

Drink something that is full of caffeine , example coffee , or tea .. even green tea has some caffeine if you wish to stay on the healthy side ! this will help to keep you

focused and more importantly awake during those all nighters trying to finish your assignments due the next day!

3. Don’t leave everything till the last minute !

Start studying before exams are too close , as this will get you even more stressed. Finish those assignments as soon as you can so you’ll have less to worry about and more time to focus on your studying.

4. Stress Free

Try to keep as calm as possible , we know it’s difficult but keep in mind that stressing about something won’t make it better it will just make you less focus and increase your break outs on that pretty face of yours! So take a breath and calm down .. do some yoga or go for a walk , anything that calms you down will do !

5. Snack time !

It’s good to snack during studying and these snacks will help to keep you alert ; nuts as they have Omega-3 fatty acids and help with your brain function , Fruits (maybe a nice fruit salad ) as fruit is filled with antioxidants & Dark chocolate as it helps in reducing the levels of stress hormones.

6. Take a Break

Take short regular breaks , as if you start to feel frustrated and tired your brain performance will decrease and you wont be getting anything done . So stand up and get away from your study area , relax or take a walk for few minutes and then return to your studying .

7. Skin care

We know what stress can do to our skin . So it is super important to stick to your skin care routine and maybe change a few products accordingly. Drinking a lot of water is also important as it does wonders to your skin it helps with clearing up and dryness . Eating food that are high in vitamin E can also help example almonds, spinach & raw seeds as these will help since vitamin E is an antioxidant that protects and repairs your skin.

8. No Technology !

Switch off your phone and any other source of distraction or leave them an other room . I constantly find my self on the phone playing games or on the internet and as soon I hear a text I have to look , just procrastinating ! this will waste a lot of your time so just switch them off you’ll get double the work done .

9. Study in Style

Don’t study in your pyjamas or lounge wear as the first chance you get to go back in bed you’ll do so ! wear something comfortable but change from your pyjamas , something you would wear to school for example.

10. Motivation

keep in mind what your aiming for as of a career , keep in mind that all this will be worth it when you’ll have your dream job. you can also use some inspirational quotes around your study area and on your desktop to help in keeping you motivated!
